Dignity, Health, and Education for Girls
Every girl deserves the dignity, confidence, and opportunity to pursue her education without shame or interruption. Through this initiative, His Charity and His Love seeks to remove barriers that prevent girls from attending school during menstruation, protecting both their health and their future.
What We Are Doing
This initiative focuses on meeting essential hygiene needs for girls in underserved communities by providing:

Menstrual hygiene supplies, including sanitary pads and personal care items

Education on menstrual health and hygiene, empowering girls with knowledge and confidence

Support for safe and proper disposal, including disposal bins and improved sanitation where possible

Community and school engagement to reduce stigma and promote understanding
Why This Matters
In many communities, girls miss several days of school each month due to a lack of access to menstrual products and safe disposal options. Over time, these absences can lead to falling behind academically or dropping out entirely.
By addressing menstrual health with dignity and care, we help girls remain in school, protect their physical health, and affirm their worth.
How This Honors God
God’s love is compassionate, intentional, and restoring. Jesus consistently uplifted women and cared for those marginalized by society. Providing hygiene supplies and education reflects His heart by restoring dignity, removing shame, and opening doors for girls to grow into the purpose God has for their lives.
This initiative honors God by ensuring that no girl is excluded from education because of a natural and God-designed part of her body.
Our Prayer
Our prayer is that every girl served through this initiative walks into her classroom with confidence, knowing she is valued, supported, and loved. May this work break cycles of shame, strengthen communities, and reflect God’s grace in tangible ways.
